I am an enthusiastic and energetic entrepreneur that is successfully running a clothing business. I unfortunately have had to cease public facing trading as a result of Covid19, however I am building my website and online following so I don't have to shut down my small business, I will not give up! My sales, hospitality experience and extroverted personality lends me a background in customer service and strong interpersonal skills. If you were a drink, what type of drink would you be and why?
I'd be a beer because I'm bubbly and well liked!
What coffee machines have you used? And, on a good day, how many coffees can you make per hour?
Mainly Wega's but more than likely a few others. I belive at Midnight over an 8 hour shift between two of us we averaged making 1.5 (delicious and pretty) coffees per minute.
What do you order when you're on the other side of the machine?
A short-long black
What uniform and tools of the trade do you have?
I definitely was not a chef but however I was a night Cook
What's your favourite cuisine to cook?
It would have to be either a Japanese beef curry or a classic Carbonara
Can you carry three plates?
Mate, I can carry three coffees without spilling them! But yes, three plates is too easy.
If those plates were for you, what would be on them?
Anything that comes with rice!

Chatty and honest.
What qualities do you like in a sales assistant when you're the one doing the shopping?
Helpfulness.
How do you like to be treated by cashiers/check-out staff when you're buying something?
Kindly, politely and without judgement
What draws you to apply for a job in retail?
Some more experience in my own business field.
Outside of work how do you like spending your time doing?
Projects, projects, projects! I have built a camper and a trailer storage box most recently! love getting nitty and gritty with some woodwork but I especially love learning new skills.
How would you describe your management style?
Firm but understanding and diligent
What's your favourite music to put on in the store on a Friday?
I love classics from the 20s when I am working front of house, it seems to keep my spirits high.
What qualities do you think make a good manager?
Someone who can make good banter but is firm and gives constuctive critisism, I love to be on my best but also to know how to do my job even better.
What's your dream job and why?
I had my dream job until this covid stuff! I love running my own business and travelling the country while setting myself up for life.
What separates a 'great' manager from a 'good' manager?
I think a good manager knows the job and does it well however I think a great manager knows the job and their staff and how to manage the crew as well as the business.
